Over the Top

Quartet with a 40's Look

As if by magic, the quartet appears out of the jukebox, to sing Apple Blossom Time during the production of Still in the Mood at the Hudson Village Theatre.

The girls look fab in their wigs and red satin jackets, don't they?
comments from a fan:

I'm not just saying this; I TRULY enjoyed the show, what a great, fun, inspiring experience , I had not been to a theatre in YEARS ...  and this had some of my FAVE elements ; WW2 Canadiana war stories, romance, and those great songs ...arranged so well, clearly that was a lot of work, LOVED it.... congrats on a GREAT job yourself, looks like you were having a really good time ! and you and the gals vocals are SO SMOOTH, JM.

Wow, what a show! We love the Side Door Coffe House and had a great time.

Who knew such a little musical gem existed on the West Island of Montreal?

If you love folk music (country/jazz/barbershop and ukelele on the menu last Friday), or love to sing along, you'll love the Coffee House.

Here are some you tube links from a few of our best songs that night. Huge thanks to Walter for capturing us on video, and to both Jean and Walter for putting us on you tube.

We would love to have comments from viewers on this blog - so let us know how you like it.
